Woodstock der Blasmusik 2024: Four Days of „Love, Peace & Blasmusik“ in Ort

From June 27th to 30th, Ort im Innkreis (District of Ried) will once again be filled with the motto: „Love, Peace & Blasmusik“ for the Woodstock der Blasmusik festival. This event attracts tens of thousands of visitors to the Innviertel region.

Last year, over 80,000 festival-goers enjoyed a four-day mega-event at the Arco-Arena. The organizers are aiming to at least match that number this year, regardless of how many ultimately attend. The lineup for Woodstock der Blasmusik this year is just as impressive as before.

Acts like „The BossHoss“ and „Junge Wenger Tanzlmusi“ will grace the stages for the twelfth edition of the festival. Both new acts and crowd favorites will be featured in the lineup. One of the highlights will be the performance by „The BossHoss“ on Saturday night on the Main Stage. Regular performers like „Viera Blech“ and „Brassaranka“ will also be there to entertain the audience.

While many of the musicians come from far and wide, local groups also make it into the lineup. For example, „Junge Wenger Tanzlmusi“ originated from enthusiastic musicians of the Trachtenmusikkapelle Weng in Bezirk Braunau. Other acts include „Die Most Pressers,“ „Kaiser Musikanten,“ „Innsbrucker Böhmische,“ and many more.

The festival also allows for audience participation. The traditional Gesamtspiel involves up to 19,000 musicians performing on and off the stage, creating a memorable experience for all attendees. Sunday is designated as Family Day at Woodstock der Blasmusik, offering a range of activities for children and families to enjoy.

In addition to music fans and party animals, the festival caters to families and children with various activities such as children’s concerts, bouncy castles, and face painting. For more information on Woodstock der Blasmusik, tickets, camping options, and more, visit the official website.

The Bezirksblasmusikfest Pattigham 2024, hosted by the Musikverein Pattigham from June 21st to 23rd, will also be a celebration of music with a Marching Competition. Under the motto „Huat auf – guat drauf,“ the town of Pattigham will transform into the district capital of Blasmusik. Musicians and visitors from the region will gather in the 80×30 meter tent, where the Musikverein and hundreds of volunteers will serve up delicious food and drinks.

Overall, these events promise a vibrant celebration of music and community spirit, bringing together people of all ages to enjoy the sounds of Blasmusik. Whether you’re a dedicated fan or simply looking for a fun day out, these festivals offer something for everyone to enjoy.
