Rapper Bushido, known for his successful music career in Germany, has recently made headlines with his plans for a career change in Dubai. His record label, Erstguterjunge, established in 2011, has now been closed, according to documents from the Berlin-Charlottenburg trade register. Additionally, Bushido dissolved his sole proprietorship, Anis Ferchichi e.K., in February and transferred it to the newly formed Amayu GmbH & Co. KG.

With these changes in his business ventures, Bushido announced his comeback in the music industry and released his album „König für immer“ in May 2024. Following the album release, he embarked on a tour across Germany, reconnecting with his fans and showcasing his music once again.

However, amidst his comeback tour, Bushido revealed in an interview on the „Electro Ghetto“ podcast that he had declined a significant offer from the organizers of the renowned Splash! Festival. Despite being approached multiple times in the past, Bushido decided not to perform at the festival, citing a negative experience with the festival organizers.

Reflecting on his past interactions with the Splash! Festival, Bushido shared, „I had a few festival stories like that. Splash! for example, but I canceled that. Splash! has a special history… I last performed at Splash! in 2004, I think, don’t quote me on that… And then it was a long time, and I’ve told that story a few times, but many people don’t remember. I performed at Splash! with Aggro Berlin, then alone after the Aggro split. And then I wanted to go back there, and I spoke with the people there, that was before [my album] Electro Ghetto came out… and then I spoke with the guys. I don’t even remember who it was… And then I spoke with one of them, and they were full of themselves, very arrogant.“

Despite the offer to return to Splash! Festival in recent years, Bushido felt that it did not align with his values and priorities. He emphasized that his fans and family always come first in his decision-making process.

While Bushido’s music career continues to thrive, there are speculations about his future plans, particularly regarding his relocation to Dubai with his wife Anna-Maria and their eight children. In 2022, the family made the move to Dubai, accompanied by three childminders and their pet Bernese Mountain Dog.

In a surprising turn of events, Bushido shared on Instagram in mid-September 2024 that he had passed an examination and been appointed as a real estate agent in Dubai. This career shift marks a new chapter for the rapper as he explores opportunities in the real estate market in the bustling city of Dubai.

As Bushido and Anna-Maria navigate their new life in Dubai, questions arise about their adaptation to the local culture and language. While they took their examination in English, the couple may need to enhance their Arabic skills to excel in their new profession. Their journey to establish themselves in Dubai will undoubtedly be a test of their resilience and determination in a foreign environment.

In conclusion, Bushido’s decision to pivot towards a career in real estate in Dubai showcases his versatility and willingness to explore new opportunities outside of the music industry. As he embarks on this new venture, fans and followers eagerly anticipate his success in this unfamiliar territory. The rapper’s journey serves as a reminder of the importance of embracing change and seizing new opportunities for personal and professional growth.
