Micaela Schäfer: Naked Snail Becomes Sex Doll – Now Everyone Can Sleep with Her

Micaela Schäfer has definitely mastered the art of self-promotion. Soon, anyone can bring the self-proclaimed naked snail home – as an authentic sex doll. However, this comes at a price.

Micaela Schäfer has been able to make a good living from her „profession“ as a self-proclaimed naked snail. With her revealing appearances on reality TV shows, her nude DJ gigs, and all sorts of risqué merchandise, she has likely earned more than many others do in a lifetime of 9-to-5 jobs. Her latest move to monetize her naked body will be on display at the „Venus“ erotic fair in Berlin this weekend, where she has been the ambassador for over ten years: a sex doll that promises to be almost indistinguishable from the original.

The doll is based on a 3D scan of her body, Schäfer reveals in an interview with „t-online“. „The process was very technical and precise, so the result is almost an exact replica of me,“ she adds. The idea for this unique fan item did not come from the marketing specialist herself. Instead, a company called „Housedoll“ approached her, offering a variety of customizable bedmates made of plastic and elastane – whether small or large, blonde or brunette, light-skinned or dark-skinned, with large or small breasts, male or female. The dolls can be purchased or rented, and maybe even snag a deal with a used model. However, one thing is clear: this „fun“ comes at a cost. Those interested can shell out over 5000 euros for their chosen doll.

Currently, the 3690 euros for Micaela Schäfer’s home-use double are relatively affordable. Of course, the naked snail can also be customized to personal preferences – „from the color of the fingernails to the intimate area,“ as reported by „t-online“. But potential buyers should act fast: the silicone Schäfer is initially limited to 100 copies.

„At first, I was surprised because it’s not exactly an everyday request,“ admits the doll’s godmother about her initial skepticism. „But somehow, I immediately thought the idea was cool,“ she continues. After all, the doll is not just about sex. „It’s more about human connections, social benefits, especially for loneliness or physical disabilities – and moving away from the red-light milieu.“ This openness and focus on topics like sexuality without taboos, but with respect, convinced her.

It was important to her that „the doll not only fits visually but also has a certain aura that matches me. Details like facial expressions, body proportions, and just the overall image,“ says Schäfer. She is „extremely satisfied“ with the result. She will surely be even more satisfied if it soon says „sold out.“
