The Ballermann Countdown: Isi Glück, Mickie Krause & More Bring Certainty!
Mallorca’s party center, the Ballermann, is approaching the end of the season with rapid steps. Soon, the tourist crowds will once again be a thing of the past. However, from October 24th to 27th, there will be a proper farewell celebration. But how did this year’s season at the Ballermann go? If anyone knows, it’s the stars from Megapark and Bierkönig in Mallorca. And they are here to share their insights with our editorial team.
Ballermann stars Isi Glück and Rick Arena reveal all
The Megapark star, Isi Glück, had numerous performances at Megapark this year with hits like „Delfin“ and „Oberteil.“ She exclusively revealed to us how her time in Mallorca was this year: „The 2024 season was overwhelming! I have never seen so many party friends in one summer!“ A special highlight for the party pop singer was, „I am pleased that ‚Oberteil,‘ my song with Marc Eggers, is playing at the top.“
Bierkönig star Rick Arena is also overwhelmed after this year’s season. „For me, this has been the craziest summer since I’ve been in Mallorca. I’ve been at Bierkönig for 16 years, a very, very, very long time, and I have to say, there was not a single performance that was empty. It was a really good audience this year. Extremely peaceful, I haven’t seen a single altercation.“
Mickie Krause and Schürze with mixed feelings
Schürze, also known as Michael Müller, had a hit with „Layla“ in 2022. This year, the Malle hit was once again on his performance list. But how does the Bierkönig star look back on the year 2024 at the Ballermann? „This year’s season was naturally not as cool for me as the last two because I couldn’t follow up with ‚Layla‘ and ‚Bumsbar,‘ but that’s not so bad. If you could do that every year, everyone would do it every year. It was a nice season, but I hope that next year there will be a bigger hit and it will be great again.“
Megapark star Mickie Krause, who has been a staple at the Ballermann since 1998, also reflected on the 2024 season. „It was a great summer. The Megapark was always packed. I actually only wanted to do about 35 gigs, but ended up doing 49. This year, the audience seemed a bit more grateful again,“ said the „Handwerker“ singer. „I don’t know if they were overwhelmed by a sponge of artists. But I had the impression that people were having fun again and not sitting on their phones all day.“
Until the new season starts in April 2025, Krause is already looking forward to it. „I can already say that I am very excited about 2025 because you will see me at Megapark again.“ He has 30 performances planned for the new season.
