Samsung has set up a 50 m2 booth at Game City in the ballroom of Vienna City Hall. Gamers can test gaming experiences on Samsung gaming monitors from the Odyssey series, the Neo QLED 8K TV, the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and the Galaxy Tab S10 series.
From October 11th to 13th, Vienna City Hall and the adjacent City Hall Square will be transformed into a colorful playground for the gaming community. Samsung offers high-resolution gaming insights and immersive experiences on their various devices in the ballroom on nearly 50 m2.
The Game City annually attracts tens of thousands of gamers, cosplayers, students, parents, and gaming enthusiasts. In addition to the 100 exhibitors presenting the latest gaming highlights, there is a lively exchange about the future of gaming and valuable educational work. Samsung is represented in the ballroom of Vienna City Hall on a 50 m2 area, showcasing how the different devices can shape and optimize the gaming experience.
With Samsung’s gaming monitors for the ultimate gaming experience
As part of Game City, Samsung is showcasing the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G91 monitor. As Samsung’s first OLED monitor, it combines Dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440 pixels) with a 32:9 aspect ratio. This allows users to enjoy an impressive image width with brilliant resolution. Visitors can see for themselves at the booth.
Additionally, visitors can test the latest features of the Odyssey OLED G8 32-inch gaming monitor. The Odyssey OLED G8 is Samsung’s first 32-inch flat OLED gaming monitor with 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a refresh rate of 240 Hz and a response time of 0.03 ms for extremely smooth and responsive gameplay. The new Odyssey OLED G8 is Samsung’s first gaming monitor with AI support. The NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, also used in its 2024 8K TV, scales content to nearly 4K when using the monitor’s Smart TV apps to enable higher resolution in games and entertainment.
Also available to see and test are the Odyssey OLED G64, a 27-inch monitor with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 360 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time make it easy for gamers to keep up with fast-paced gameplay.
Additionally, visitors can try out the Odyssey OLED G8 in 34 inches, the Odyssey ARK 2nd generation in 55 inches, and the Odyssey Neo G9 in 57 inches at the Samsung booth.
In addition to the current gaming monitors, Samsung is also showcasing exciting technologies for gamers in the TV and audio sector. This includes the Neo QLED 8K flagship QN900D in 75 inches. The Smart TV offers 240Hz in 4K, HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos with OTS Pro. This allows the technical capabilities of the latest generation consoles to be almost fully utilized.
Gaming on the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy Tab S10
Samsung’s latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, can also be tested at Game City. The 7.6-inch display offers brilliant brightness and clarity even in bright sunlight thanks to the Vision Boosters, which adjust colors according to light intensity. Additionally, the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy provides smooth gaming performance.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, offering remarkable NPU improvement for efficient AI processing. The Galaxy S24 Ultra also features an optimal thermal control system with a 1.9 times larger vapor chamber, improving cooling and maximizing sustained performance. Ray tracing enables realistic rendering with excellent shadow and reflection effects. Through collaborations with leading gaming partners, the Galaxy S24 Ultra offers more fun with optimized, globally popular mobile games.
For those who prefer gaming on a tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S10+ provide excellent options. Both the 14.6-inch display of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the 12.4-inch display of the Galaxy Tab S10+ are equipped with Dynamic AMOLED 2X technology, offering a vibrant and natural viewing experience – even outdoors. The quad speakers are further enhanced by the AI-powered Dialogue Boost, which amplifies voices over unwanted noises for a crystal-clear audio experience.
