In an interview with Piers Morgan, he revealed that he is broke and on the verge of homelessness.
Spacey shared his heartbreaking story on Piers Morgan’s show „Uncensored,“ admitting that he is buried in debt due to hefty legal fees from the trials. When asked about his current financial situation, he bluntly stated that he has no money. He also disclosed that his house in Baltimore is being foreclosed, leaving him uncertain about where he will live.
His lavish five-story home in Baltimore is set to be auctioned off on Thursday at 9:20 AM local time due to payment default. This makes Spacey officially homeless. Interestingly, the property was purchased under the name of „Clear Toaster LLC,“ owned by Evan Lowenstein, Spacey’s manager.
In September 2017, Spacey paid approximately $5.65 million for the luxurious waterfront property, boasting six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater, sauna, billiard room, elevator, and a 75-foot rooftop terrace with a private spa.
Despite his dire situation, Spacey admitted to being overly aggressive in the past and acknowledged a past incident where he unintentionally touched someone inappropriately. He expressed remorse for his actions.
As Spacey faces the harsh reality of losing his home, there may be a glimmer of hope in the form of a new project. He is rumored to be cast as the Devil in an upcoming film titled „The Contract.“ Only time will tell if Hollywood is willing to give him a second chance after his public revelations.
