Another Musical Announced for Centro Theater in Oberhausen – Pre-sale in June
Musical fans in Oberhausen have a lot to look forward to from winter 2024 onwards. A new musical has been announced, adding to the excitement of the return of musicals and the revival of the Metronom Theater at Centro Oberhausen.
In spring 2024, the new operators of the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen, „Semmel-Concerts,“ confirmed the first events. Starting from the end of 2024, three musicals – „Der Geist der Weihnacht,“ „Elisabeth,“ and „Grease“ – will attract numerous visitors to the theater.
Now, another musical has been added to the lineup. In January 2025, „Die Zauberflöte“ will grace the stage at the theater near the popular shopping destination in NRW.
According to the ticket platform „Eventim,“ the pre-sale for the musical will begin on Wednesday (June 12) at 10 am. A total of 13 performances are scheduled on the calendar.
Just like with the other announced musicals, audiences will have limited time to enjoy the music, dance performances, and the atmosphere. The final performance of „Die Zauberflöte“ in Oberhausen is set for January 12.
Fans will need to act fast to experience all four musicals in the Ruhr area. However, tickets are still available for the other three musicals. The dates for the events at the Metronom Theater Oberhausen are as follows:
– November 29 to December 29, 2024: „Der Geist der Weihnacht“ – the musical (30 shows)
– January 2 to January 12, 2025: „Die Zauberflöte“ – the musical (13 shows)
– February 4 to February 23, 2025: Musical „Elisabeth“ (23 shows)
– March 25 to April 6, 2025: „Grease“ (16 shows)
According to WAZ, „Semmel Concerts“ and „Stage Entertainment“ have agreed not to stage permanent productions in Oberhausen. However, it is expected that more musicals will visit Centro for short periods starting from April 2025.
