Markus Söder reacts to the surprise announcement of Miroslav Klose as new coach of 1. FC Nürnberg

This unexpected coaching change has sent shockwaves beyond the world of sports! On Tuesday, it was revealed that Miroslav Klose will be taking over as the new coach of 1. FC Nürnberg. The 2014 World Cup winner is stepping in for Cristian Fiél (44), who recently moved to Hertha BSC. Shortly after the news broke, Markus Söder (57/CSU), the Minister President of Bavaria, took to social media to share his thoughts on the Klose appointment. Söder, a lifelong supporter of the club and former member of its supervisory board, expressed his excitement for the new era under Klose’s leadership.

Klose, who will begin his tenure on June 24 as the team kicks off preparations for the upcoming season, has had a successful transition from player to coach. Starting as an assistant coach for the German national team in 2016, he went on to coach the U17 team at FC Bayern before joining the coaching staff at the club alongside Hansi Flick. Most recently, Klose served as the head coach of SCR Altach in Austria.

With the support of Markus Söder, Klose is ready to take on this new challenge at 1. FC Nürnberg. The fans are eagerly anticipating his arrival and are excited to see what the future holds under his guidance.
