14th Season of „The Voice of Germany“ Premiering this Fall
Berlin – The popular singing competition „The Voice of Germany“ is gearing up for its 14th season set to premiere this fall on Sat1, ProSieben, and Joyn. Along with a new season comes a fresh panel of judges.
The judges for the 14th season of „The Voice of Germany“ include Mark Forster, Samu Haber, Yvonne Catterfeld, and Kamrad as they set out to discover new singing talents.
The upcoming season of the singing competition show is set to kick off in the fall, with the auditions currently taking place in Berlin. Here is what viewers need to know:
**What is the Concept of „The Voice of Germany“?**
In „The Voice of Germany,“ contestants progress by successfully making it into one of the four coaches‘ teams. The coaches sit in red chairs with their backs to the stage, only hearing the contestant’s voice without seeing them. If a coach wants the contestant on their team, they press the buzzer on their chair, turning around to see the contestant. Contestants move forward if at least one coach turns their chair. In the case of multiple coaches turning, the contestant gets to choose which team they join.
Throughout the show, the coaches take on a mentorship role for their contestants. Following the Blind Auditions, there are additional selection rounds like the Battles, where contestants from the same team compete, and the coach can only choose one. At the end of the season, each team will have one remaining contestant who will then perform in live shows. The winner of the season is decided by the audience through voting.
**Who is on the Jury?**
This year, all four chairs of the jury are filled with new faces compared to the previous season. While seasoned singer Mark Forster returns, newcomer Kamrad joins as a first-time participant. Alongside them, former fan-favorite Samu Haber reclaims his spot on the panel, and Yvonne Catterfeld also makes a return to the „The Voice“ jury. The season will be hosted by Melissa Khalaj and Thore Schölermann.
**Where and When will the Show Air?**
The exact premiere date of the 14th season is yet to be announced, but it is expected to air sometime in the fall of 2024. The auditions and Blind Audition recordings began in early June. As usual, the episodes will be broadcast on ProSieben and Sat1, as well as on the streaming platform Joyn.
