Howard Carpendale: Farewell Tour Concludes with a Bang!
Howard Carpendale, a legend in the world of Schlager music, bids farewell with a bang: He launched his final album „Let’s do it again“ on a memorable Friday the 13th of October. It immediately topped the charts and stayed impressively at number two for 13 weeks. This success could be attributed to superstition associated with this particular date.
Due to the overwhelming response from fans, Howard announced a re-release of the album. „Let’s do it again, again,“ set for June 7, 2024, will feature new tracks and live recordings from the tour. The concerts, especially in Zwickau and Hannover, sold out quickly, and Howard captivated his audience right from the start of the tour in Zwickau.
However, the tour faced a setback when Howard had to cancel two dates due to a bout of the flu. He expressed his disappointment saying, „I know what this decision means for all those who were looking forward to the show just like us. But it would have been unwise for me to push through now. I am looking forward even more to the upcoming dates, which we will play with full force.“ – Howard Carpendale
After a brief recovery period, he resumed the tour in Mannheim and delighted fans in other cities like Cologne, Frankfurt, and Oberhausen.
The final leg of his tour took him through Rostock, Hamburg, Hannover, and finally to Berlin, where fans cheered on May 31st. The grand tour finale originally planned in Stuttgart will now take place on June 5, 2024, in Vienna. The concert in Nuremberg, scheduled for May 21st, unfortunately cannot be rescheduled; fans have the option to get a refund for their tickets.
Although „Let’s do it again“ was announced as his final album, Howard Carpendale will continue to grace the stage for select concerts and release new singles. We are grateful for this incredible tour and look forward to what musical delights Howard Carpendale has in store for us!
