Stellantis announces no further recalls due to airbag issues after newspaper reports auto manufacturer expanding campaign
Stellantis stated on Wednesday that no further recalls are planned due to faulty airbags from a supplier, after newspaper Le Parisien reported that the automaker was expanding recalls for some Citroen models produced between 2009 and 2019. „There are currently no additional recall actions planned,“ a company spokesperson said. Le Parisien reported that Stellantis will recall vehicles in addition to the already affected CS3 and DS3 models for vehicles operating in southern France, including models from the C4, DS4, and DS5 series, as the airbag issues are related to hot weather. Stellantis stated, „We cannot rule out further precautionary recalls in the future.“
