Urbanatix 2024 Press Conference Invitation
In just under three months, the globally unique street art show urbanatix will return to the stage. What’s new and who will be participating this time? First details about the event at the Grugahalle Essen are already being revealed.
Dear members of the press, following the successful urbanatix premiere last year in Essen, the ensemble is excited for the upcoming new production in December. Ticket sales have already begun, and preparations are in full swing. Once again, urbanatix will bring together young exceptional talents from the region and internationally acclaimed artists to thrill the audience with parkour, biking, dance, comedy, and acrobatics at the Grugahalle Essen.
Christian Eggert, the creator and director of the action-packed production, will present initial plans for the new show at twelve dates over six days between Christmas and New Year. Dancer and choreographer Natalia Nowakowski will discuss the newly planned mentorship program for young talents, showcasing that urbanatix is much more than just a show. Axel Biermann, Managing Director of Ruhr Tourism GmbH, and Thomas Kufen, Mayor of Essen, will explain the role urbanatix plays from a tourism perspective for the region and the city of Essen.
Additionally, ten participating street artists will provide a sneak peek of their movement art and be available for interviews, photo shoots, and filming.
