The Fantastischen Vier are set to release their new album „Long Player“ this coming Friday, celebrating an incredible 35 years in the music business and proving that they are firmly anchored in the pop music world. The album, five years in the making, revolves around themes of time, transience, and the joy of life. Songs like „44 Tausend“ and „Wie weit“ take us back to the 80s and 90s, while „Bestandsaufnahme“ raises existential questions. Despite any doubts, the Fantas make it clear: „Stop? Not yet!“ „Long Player“ is a nostalgic journey through time and a powerful statement that they are here to stay.

The focus track of the new album „LONG PLAYER“ by Die Fantastischen Vier, set to be released on October 4th, is also the title song of the film „ALTER WEISSER MANN,“ which will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting October 31, 2024. The Fantastischen Vier and the new film by the award-winning filmmaker Simon Verhoeven share a perspective on the major and sensitive social issues of our time. With plenty of humor and self-irony – as seen in previous successful films like „WILLKOMMEN BEI DEN HARTMANNS“ and the „MÄNNERHERZEN“ series – Verhoeven’s loving comedy takes on the dance around today’s political correctness.

In December, Thomas D, Smudo, Michi Beck & Andy Ypsilon will embark on the „Long Player“ tour across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. The tour dates for the Vier are as follows:

– December 4, 2024 – Hannover (DE) – ZAG Arena

– December 10, 2024 – Leipzig (DE) – Quarterback Immobilien Arena
– December 11, 2024 – Hamburg (DE) – Barclays Arena
