An e-bike rider was seriously injured in a collision in Engetried. The cyclist had collided with a dead deer.

A pedelec rider was traveling from Linden towards Engetried when he collided with a dead deer on the road just before the town sign of Engetried. The rider had noticed the dead animal too late. As a result of the fall, the e-bike rider sustained serious injuries, according to the police.
The police are now trying to determine who hit the deer. The damage to the pedelec is estimated at around 300 euros. It is unclear who hit the deer and left it on the road.
