Exciting Competition at Rallye Vosges Grand-Est for Opel Corsa Rally Electric
The third scoring event for the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup „powered by GSe“ is set to take place on June 15th and 16th. This will be the first of three stops in France for the teams with their Corsa Rally Electric vehicles. The Rallye Vosges Grand-Est promises to be a thrilling battle, with three Opel Astra GSe cars ensuring safety for the rally participants.
Last time at the ELE Rally in the Netherlands, five drivers managed to win at least one of the twelve special stages. Ultimately, 24-year-old Austrian Luca Pröglhöf and navigator Christina Ettel claimed victory by 8.8 seconds over the Spanish duo of Alex Español Jove and Patricia Sáiz Ruiloba. The French brothers Anthony and Adrien Rott finished in third place.
Unfortunately, Christian Lemke and Jan-Eric Bemmann faced some setbacks due to a water damage issue with their Corsa Rally Electric during the ELE Rally. However, they are determined to bounce back at the upcoming rally in Gérardmer.
The Rallye Vosges Grand-Est is known for its challenging terrain, with rough asphalt, stones, and deep cuts posing a true test for both drivers and their vehicles. The event will feature seven special stages covering a total of 116.4 kilometers.
Several participants in the ADAC Opel Electric Rally Cup will be competing on their home turf at the Rallye Vosges Grand-Est. The Rott brothers, as well as Alizée Pottier, Emma Chalvin, and Julien Casale, are looking to continue their strong performances from earlier events.
Additionally, three Opel Astra GSe vehicles will act as „lead cars,“ ensuring safety on the rally stages and guiding participants through the course.
For those unable to attend the event in person, a summary of the Rallye Vosges Grand-Est will be broadcast on n-tv’s „DRM – Deutsche Rallye-Meisterschaft“ on June 30th. Rally fans can also follow the action live on the official Opel Motorsport and ADAC Motorsport websites.
