Since 9:30 a.m., there have been power outages in parts of Eichenzell. This sudden loss of power has affected the districts of Welkers, Memlos, Lütter, and Rönshausen. Additionally, there have been reports of brief power outages in the municipality of Kalbach. According to Rhön Energie, the outage was caused by disruptions in the medium voltage line of the Welkers substation. They have assured that the issues will be resolved within the next hour.
