Gottfried Würcher, a member of the Nockis band, recently shared his thoughts on the most important thing in life during a podcast interview. After surviving a heart attack in 2021, the 65-year-old musician emphasized that health is the greatest wish one can have, with everything else being secondary.
Despite releasing over 30 studio albums, many of which have been certified Gold or Platinum, the band has not lost their passion for music and performing in front of their devoted fans. Fans of the Nockis can look forward to more concerts and albums from their favorite band in the future.
For Gottfried Würcher, being able to earn a living doing what he loves is a true blessing. He believes that music brings people together, allows for the formation of friendships, and enables individuals to make a positive impact on others. In his view, these connections and acts of kindness are the most important aspects of life.
The Nockis band was founded in 1982 in Millstatt, Kärnten by Gottfried Würcher, Wilfried Wiederschwinger, and Heinz Zwatz. By 1984, the band had expanded to become the „Nockalm Quintett,“ with Rudi Schellander and Dietmar Zwischenberger joining as additional members.
Throughout the 1980s, the band performed live extensively in Austria and Switzerland, eventually making their television debut. In 1989, they won the Schlagerhitparade on ZDF, gaining recognition from the German audience and expanding their fan base beyond Austria.
The journey of the Nockis is a testament to the power of music in bringing joy, fostering connections, and creating lasting memories. As they continue to share their music with the world, Gottfried Würcher and his bandmates remain grateful for the opportunity to pursue their passion and make a positive impact on others through their songs.
