In Cologne – Has the „Mocro-Mafia“ struck again in Cologne? There was an explosion at a multi-family house in the middle of the night. At three o’clock in the night, there was a loud bang at Dahlienweg in the Cologne district of Zündorf. Doors and windows were shattered. In the morning, there were shards inside and outside the house. Fortunately, no one was injured. Police teams are securing evidence. „I heard a loud bang, screams, and then silence,“ said a resident to BILD. And a resident from the second floor said, „I woke up in the middle of the night to loud banging. My husband was in the bathroom when suddenly there was a huge bang and the blown-out door flew towards him.“ The 54-year-old continued, „Zündorf is a very quiet residential area. We have been living here since 2012. This is a significant attack on our sense of security.“ All six apartment doors were blown out of their frames by the massive pressure wave. A door on the ground floor was even thrown meters into the hallway. The property manager was on-site, assessing the extent of the devastation. Temporary doors from the hardware store will now be installed.

Explosions as a threat from the „Mocro-Mafia“
According to the police, possible connections to other explosions that have occurred in recent weeks are being investigated. Detonations have occurred in Cologne, as well as in Engelskirchen and Duisburg. According to preliminary information from the police, at least some of the explosions – as well as a hostage situation in Cologne – are related to conflicts between drug gangs, including those from the Netherlands, known as the „Mocro-Mafia.“ Explosions in front of entrances are a commonly used threat tactic by Dutch drug dealers. Michael Mertens, the NRW head of the Police Union (GdP), said, „The Dutch drug mafia is already here. NRW as a transport hub is a key point. What one must realize is that these are truly perpetrators of extreme brutality.“ In Duisburg, an entrance was blown up on July 5th. The act is attributed to the „Mocro-Mafia.“

Authorities must work diligently to investigate these incidents, apprehend those responsible, and ensure the safety and security of residents in affected areas. Community awareness and cooperation are essential in combating such criminal activities and protecting the well-being of individuals and families living in these neighborhoods. It is crucial for law enforcement agencies to continue monitoring and addressing the activities of these criminal groups to prevent further harm and maintain public safety.
