The legendary US rock band Kiss retired last year after a five-year farewell tour around the world. However, their legacy lives on through tribute bands like Kissin’ Time, who are keeping the spirit of Kiss alive. Kissin’ Time, a tribute band from Kassel, has been rocking out for 30 years and is currently on their „Fire, Blood & Dynamite Tour 24“. They will be performing live in Schortens this Friday evening.

Kissin’ Time is known for not only their song selection but also for their attention to detail, including the iconic makeup and glittery costumes that were trademarks of the original band. The makeup styles of the Spaceman, Demon, Starchild, and Catman will be on full display during their performance, along with classic hits like „I Was Made For Lovin’ You“, „New York Groove“, and „God Gave Rock’n’Roll To You“.

The Schortenser Musiksommer has been hosting free live music events every Friday, providing a great opportunity for music lovers to gather, socialize, dance, and have a good time. The concert will start at 7 pm, and the music will continue until 10 pm. The event will also offer food and drinks starting from 6 pm, creating a festive and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees.

Following Kissin’ Time, the „Panik Power Band“ will be performing Udo Lindenberg’s music on July 26, and the „Hillbilly Moonshiners“ will close out the event on August 2 with songs from Mumford and Sons. These concerts promise to be an exciting and entertaining experience for music fans of all ages. So, mark your calendars and get ready to rock out with Kissin’ Time and other fantastic tribute bands at the Schortenser Musiksommer.
