Three years have passed since the lawyer Zaida Catalán, an expert at the united nations, disappeared in the democratic republic of the Congo, together with his colleague, the american, Michael Sharp. A little over two weeks later, it was found, they were brutally murdered. The whole thing was great, had been involved in the investigation, and to stop the horrific rapes of the girls of the Congo (drc). She was the perpetrators of the tracks, and trying to get the facts, and the prosecution of those responsible.

But the whole thing was great, and Michael is lured into a trap and became a victim of robbers.

, but in the end, the powers that be in the Congo, had been forced to acknowledge that, while state actors are involved in it. The united nations appeared to be to begin with to stay away, in their investigation of the murders, but has since taken a degree of responsibility. In the trials of some of the alleged perpetrators are still under consideration. However, many of the other suspects are still free, and a few of the Easy Cataláns’s closest aides were forced to flee.

I thought the book would prompt a lot of discussion about the UN’s responsibility, and what we can do to honor the memory of the Easy Mountains. But so far we haven’t seen much of it.

All this and much more has been well documented by a journalist, Mr Lindberg, in his book ”the Murder of Zaida Catalán”. He has studied what happened, but it is also described that it is very Easy in la to get to the front of the background of the abuse and who was responsible. There comes also a picture of the whole thing was great, a courageous young woman who, early on, was a commitment to reducing inequality and making the world a better place.

That led her to train as a lawyer, as the sakkunig of the Green party’s parliamentary group, has become a spokesperson for the Green youth and the almost-elected EUROPEAN parliament. Instead, it was the united nations, and before that, she began to take an interest in the Congo, she has, among other things, led Eupol training courses in the jämtälldhet for law enforcement officers from a variety of countries.

For us, the whole thing was great very interesting by the background of the Swedish and chilean. Her father fled from dictatorship in Chile, and the whole thing was great, came early into contact with the work of the human rights council. She, herself, is an example of a second-generation chileans in Sweden, however, where the u.s. and its roots was important. It is, therefore, that the conference hall of the chilean embassy in Stockholm, carrying with her name and a photo.

I thought that the book would prompt a lot of discussion about the UN’s role, and what we can do to honor the memory of the Easy Mountains. But so far we haven’t seen much of it.

leonard, of course, as a died in the Congo in 1961. Raoul Wallenberg, who disappeared into the soviet prison in 1945, after a heroic effort, which saved the lives of thousands of jews in Budapest.

And in the time of Harald Edelstam, who saved the chileans, and others in the united states after the military coup in Chile in 1973. The support for and honoring of the Swedish government, for both Wallenberg and the Edelstam came in late in the day. The Edelstams case, it is only in 2016, when the president of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, during her visit in Sweden and handed over to a bust of the Edelstam, who is now standing in the parliament, together with a bust of Wallenberg.

Zaidas cases, there are local scholarships, a fellowship from the Green of youth, and an initiative by Uppsala university, sweden. In June 2018, was presented to Dag Hammarskjöld medal from the united nations, the minister for foreign affairs, Margot Wallström, to the Zaidas family. In the city of Santiago de Chile, is her picture of a work of art in the subway of Santiago, ”using the Result”.

She is unique, which is one of the very few young people who have given their lives for the human rights council of the united nations as well. In addition, one of the few women that we pay tribute to her for her courage. You should be able to call it a day after her, and each and every year to award a scholarship to a young student or researcher who would like to spend a year working on human rights issues.

the street was named after her, and in the materials distributed in the schools. We believe that her example can inspire a lot of young people to stand up for human rights, will be on the fashion side of the page.

the whole thing was great the Mountains may not be forgotten!
