The British Neo-Soul band Jungle has a special connection with Switzerland. Most recently, the three musicians performed at the Gurten festival and on the lakeside stage at the Montreux Jazz Festival.
Jungle has built a loyal fan base in Switzerland, as reported by „Blick Online“. Band member Josh Lloyd-Watson expressed their gratitude, stating, „It’s really nice to see and something special.“ Since their first performance in Switzerland in 2014 at the Paléo Festival in Nyon VD, they have found the audience in Switzerland to be „very loyal“. Lloyd-Watson mentioned that they enjoy being here.
Furthermore, the band was impressed by an alphorn player in the old town of Bern. Lloyd-Watson mentioned, „Perhaps these sounds will be something for our next album.“
At the Montreux Jazz Festival, the London-based band has already performed four times. Ten years ago, Jungle achieved international breakthrough success with their album „Jungle“.
