Kobrea Exploration Corp. has announced the appointment of strategic advisors, Cal Everett and Darren Pylot, to support the company’s copper projects in Western Malargüe, Mendoza Province, Argentina. Cal Everett, representing Axemen Resource Capital, and Darren Pylot will provide financial advice to Kobrea and assist in its growth as an emerging copper exploration and development company. Both advisors have a successful track record in working with large mining and mineral exploration companies, focusing on creating shareholder value.
Cal Everett, with over 14 years of experience in exploration, transitioned to the financial sector in 1990 and has raised over a billion dollars for early-stage projects in the commodity markets. He currently serves as the CEO of Liberty Gold Corp and Chairman of Angel Wing Metals in Mexico. Darren Pylot, on the other hand, has over 30 years of experience in the resource sector and has played pivotal roles in the development of Capstone Mining, leading it to become a prominent copper production, development, and exploration company.
Both advisors will bring their expertise to Kobrea’s newly acquired copper projects in Western Malargüe. The region shows great potential for large porphyry targets, with one target, El Perdido, already open for drilling. The strategic location, accessibility, altitude, and support from the provincial government make it favorable for mineral exploration. While drilling can be conducted on the first target, the remaining targets will be explored using aerial and ground surveys.
Kobrea Exploration Corp. focuses on acquiring and exploring base metal projects, holding the rights to 100% ownership of 7 projects spanning 733 km2 in the southwestern region of the Mendoza Province in Argentina. The concession areas are highly prospective for porphyry copper and porphyry copper-gold deposits. The company has outlined several porphyry copper target areas exhibiting hydrothermal alteration profiles, anomalous copper±gold±molybdenum geochemistry, quartz vein stockwork, local hydrothermal breccias, and Miocene dacitic to dioritic porphyry intrusions.
Additionally, Kobrea holds a 100% interest in the Upland copper project in British Columbia, Canada. The scientific and technical information presented in this press release has been reviewed by Rory Ritchie, P.Geo., Chief Geologist and Director of Kobrea, as a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 regulations.
In conclusion, the appointment of Cal Everett and Darren Pylot as strategic advisors signifies a significant step for Kobrea’s copper projects in Western Malargüe. Their expertise and experience will undoubtedly contribute to the company’s growth and development in the mineral exploration sector.
