The controversial and non-trusted figure in the Bitcoin-to-Cash-(BCH)-community Cobra, Bitcoin could prove to be the salvation for the future of the network, because a high-intense dispute between the Bitcoin ABC and nChain threatens to split BCH prior to the planned Hard Fork in November in competing Chains.

Cobra, the anonymous owner of Bitcoin.org and former critics of Bitcoin Cash, announced the Hard Fork of the Cobra Client in a Medium contribution, and the Upgrade called a „safer Implementation of the Bitcoin-to-Cash Protocol“. The proposed Update is the answer to the „mostly non-important and non-urgent changes“ proposed by the major developers, Bitcoin ABC, and nChain.

Major developer in a dispute about proposed Updates

Bitcoin ABC, the largest Bitcoin-to-Cash client that initiated the debate in the BCH community with the adoption of the Full-Node-Bitcoin-to-Cash Implementation Version 0.18.0 on 20. August, what are the drastic software changes, such as the canonical transaction sequence, and two new operation codes (Opcodes).

The proposal of Bitcoin ABC appeared a few days after nChain, Craig Wright’s Blockchain-the developer company, your own BCH Hard Fork called Bitcoin, SV—, or Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (SV) – 16. August had announced. nChains Upgrade is supported rather of Coingeek, the largest BCH-mining pool.

nChains Bitcoin SV will lift the block size of 32MB to 128MB, and four „Satoshi Opcodes“ re-enable, in the hope that the original Bitcoin-restore Protocol. Wright to Add new Opcodes and other arbitrary rejected Changes in the network and explained that nChain would rely on the implementation of the Version 0.1.0 in order to obtain the long-term stability for BCH.

Jihan Wu, the founder of Bitmain and big supporter of Bitcoin ABC of the first Hard Fork of Bitcoin in the year 2017, took part in the debate and dismissed Craig Wright’s groundless refusal of the Fork as insignificant and called him a “false Satoshi.”

Ethereums founder Vitalik Buterin was also against Wright, and wrote in a Tweet, „the BCH-community should NOT compromise with Craig Wright in order to avoid „splitting“, but as a way to accept him finally to distinguish and reject“. Buterin Craig Wright called a “cheater” after he him on the international Blockchain-Forum Deconomy in April, had a claim to hear, that he was the Creator of Bitcoin.

Cobra suggested a compromise, in order to eliminate the Drama.

Cobra previously had in the Bitcoin community for the Drama, he had proposed Changes to the Satoshi Nakamoto white paper, as well as on the original Bitcoin proof-(PoW)-consensus algorithm, and on the need for more decentralisation of jobs.

in the Meantime, Cobra is trying to save with a more sensitive approach to his reputation and the future of Bitcoin Cash and is pushing for a network Upgrade in order to avoid the Split. Cobra explained the necessity of the Service for the user not to interrupt what would cause the reputation and the value of BCH irreparable damage and that, if there is no consensus, it is best to at all to make any Changes.

Cobra Client is a conservative approach, and would bring, due to the lack of consensus regarding the Bitcoin ABC proposed new Opcodes and canonical TRANS-action, no new change orders. Instead, Cobras Fork would implement a Replay-protection, to prevent the BCH transactions to be duplicated on alternative chains, if BCH is split – which is still a strong Alternative.

Cobra Client received the support of a large part of the BCH shareholders to prove that the Upgrade is a viable Option for the BCH-the Protocol. Cobra Client claims to have nearly 25 percent of the existing BCH hashing power behind the Upgrade, and that a large stock is also used after the changes in November, the BCH-Ticker symbol. Cobra Client, the falling BCH-use was in the trade, he completed transactions with major companies that had agreed to test the Upgrade.

Ideological split in the BCH-community

Bitcoin ABC, which was responsible for the original BTC/BCH-Hard-Fork in 2017, and Wright agreed earlier unanimously that Bitcoin Cash Satoshi Nakamoto „true Version“ for Bitcoin. However, the new Updates have caused a schism in the BCH community, where nChain and Coingeek claimed that the Bitcoin ABC’s recent movement is a deviation from Satoshi’s original white paper-Vision.

supporter of the Bitcoin ABC of the proposed changes argue that the new Features framework to make the implementation of a Smart Contract-the Protocol efficient and scalable. Around two-thirds of Node operators make use of Bitcoin ABC, but that could change if the developer soon on a compromise.

Wright, who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto, wrote in a recent Blog post on Medium:

„Something you do not understand the people about Bitcoin, is that he is limited with the intent […]. It has a sense […] [He] was designed to be a stable currency, and for this reason, it is not created for new Opcodes apart from the need to security-based substitutions, or improvements.“

there is Still no consensus answers for BCHs future

Coingeek is the largest BCH-mining pool, and a supporter of nChains change proposals. The Mining survey recorded a 468-fold increase in hash rate to 28 per cent in the period, as the announcement of Bitcoin SV was made public.

Peter Rizun, the chief scientist of Bitcoin Unlimited – a development team, which accounts for almost a third of all Full-Node-clients – tweeted his opinion to dem theme, namely that Bitcoin ABS should put his plans on ice, could be proved to additional benefits.

The Bitcoin-to-Cash community will be determined during the drama, keep a close eye on mining pools, because the vocal violence of the Miner in the end of your Hashpower. The conflict is within the BTC community represents an ideological schism over the Vision of what the developers have for the future of Bitcoin Cash, with regard to the Compliance with the principles set out in Satoshi’s original Whitepaper.

The Cobra-Client-Update is the safe Option, but the fundamental resistance of Bitcoin ABC and nChain is a BCH-cleavage inevitably appear.
